Organized by The Emirates Culinary Guild.
The Emirates Culinary Guild (ECG) is the UAE’s association of professional chefs. It is a non-profit-making organization dedicated solely to the advancement of the culinary art of the UAE. The World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) is a 102nation fellowship comprising the world’s various professional chefs’ organizations
Seven judges, luminaries from the local culinary scene, cast a critical eye on the participants’ creations and noted their observations. The seven master chefs discussed the relative merits of the participants for a tense hour as the contestants cleaned up.


Emirates Culinary Guild - Junior Chef of the Year- Bronze Award 2008
The ECG, has an international culinary focus and multi-national support for the staging of its various competitions, seminars and events. The World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) endorses the ECG as the authorised UAE culinary institute.
The association awarded Chef Muhannad a Bronze Medal for Five Course Dinner Menu at The Middle East Junior Chef of the Year- Dubai 2008.

Recommendation
The American Culinary Federation is recognized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as a management organization or peer group. The ACF has been certifying Chefs in America since 1971.
Chef Alateem received three consecutive approval of support, and advisory opinion acknowledging his excellence and success in the Culinary field.
